School Trip 10th May 2011
Tudor House
Today we visited the Tudor House in Worcester. The house is nearly 500 years old and filled with lots of original Tudor features. We had lots of fun trying on Tudor clothes, playing Tudor games, learning about how Tudor houses were built and how the Tudors made their clothes.
Who can be the first to blog back and let me know what they thought of our special day out?

Maths
Today, the children in Owls looked at and explored how to use Number Beads. All children used 100 bead strings and took turns to be the 'teacher'. We then used our beads to help us with our maths problems. We had a lot of fun. Mrs Czyrko

Tudors
During our first week back this summer term we have started our new topic on The Tudors. We have already learnt about some important people during this historic time - can anyone blog me back and remind me who they are?
Charlotte, Megan and Amber managed to put our class timeline back into the correct order after I accidently (on purpose) managed to mess it up! "Oh Mrs Czyrko - not again!" I hear you cry!!
Tudor Art
This week (w/c 02.05.11) the children started their Tudor Art. Some children have created Tudor Rose images in clay, others using coloured plastic paperclips and some using tissue paper. Now that we have found the proper needles the boys are very eager to start sewing their Tudor Roses.
What do you think so far?

Royal Wedding
The Owls are really getting excited about the Royal Wedding on Friday. We are currently learning about the Tudors and have been interested to learn about the different Kings and Queens that have ruled over the years! We are looking forward to starting our decorations this afternoon and having our parents in to help us prepare for our own celebration tomorrow...
Thank you
Wow! Mrs Long thank you very much for setting our class blog up. I am sure all the children will enjoy learning how to use it. Mrs Czyrko
